Survey Information Page
Are you a midwive? Do you want to contribute to a study which aims to improve perinatal mental health care for refugee and asylum seeking women?
You are invited to participate in a short (less than 5 minute) online survey which aims to explore how midwifery services in England can be developed to support refugee and asylum seeking women with symptoms of perinatal depression.
The survey is aimed at any midwife working in England who has experience of providing maternity care to refugee and asylum seeking women.
All responses are anonymous and confidential.
The is being undertaken by Amanda Firth, a PhD student at the University of Bradford and is being supervised by:
Dr Melanie Cooper - University of Bradford

Dr Josie Dickerson – Better Start Bradford
This survey has been approved by the University of Bradford Research Ethics Committee (reference number: EC25676).
Findings will be used to inform the first stage of my PhD study and anonymised data may be used in future research publications.
